Cook Yacht Design designs sailing yachts of many types and sizes, thus far ranging from an 11' one-person dinghy, to an 85' maxi yacht with a crew of 25. One of our recent areas of concentration has been in offshore cruising yachts, but we have also designed daysailers, offshore one-designs, and numerous one-off racing yachts. Most of our designs have been built of fiberglass or composites, but several have been wood or metal, as well. The firm was started on 1977 with the launching of the radical and highly successful one-tonner, Rogue's Roost. Since 1993 we have been located on Cape Cod, an easy drive from either Boston or Providence, and right in the middle of one of New England's best cruising grounds.
